Chapter 730 Melante was quiet for a moment before she eventually replied, “Okay,” After informing Xander and the others, Melanie went out with her luggage she did not let them accompany her so that she could have squiet tto think things over Lee arrived not long after. He got out of the car and opened the back door for Manis while taking her luggage to the trunk.

Melanie was not surprised to see Eugene when she got into the car since he had to go to Oskon City too. On the other hand, there was a barely discernible twitch in Eugene’s brow when he saw Melanie's pale face.

“Do you have anything on Jackson?” Melanie asked without looking at Eugene as if she had not noticed his gaze.

“Lee will give you a file with his recent movements and sof his preferences,” Eugene replied.

Melanie nodded and turned to Lee, who had just gotten into the car. “Give it tonow. We still have stbefore reaching the airport.” Lee subconsciously glanced at Eugene. Seeing no objection from him, Lee took out a file from his briefcase and handed it to Melanie.

After thanking Lee, Melanie threw herself into the file entirely as if there was nothing else in the world worthy of her attention. Eugene did not disturb her. He lowered his head and looked at his phone. He appeared to be chatting with someone.

The atmosphere in the car was quiet, only filled with the sound of Melanie flipping through the pages and Lee’s subdued breathing as he drove.

Suddenly, a voice message cfrom Eugene’s phone. “Mr. Scott, regarding this case...” It was Zara's voice. x] Melanie looked up. “Are you chatting with Miss Henson?” “Yeah.” Eugene calmly turned off his phone. “It’s about a previous case at LeapCo.” Melanie lowered her gaze and said nothing more. After a while, she commented, “She's a very responsible lawyer.” Eugene responded nonchalantly, “She’s a top lawyer at Navair Law Firm. What else would you expect? “That's why I'm grateful to you,” Melanie said with no intention of further conversation. She then shifted her gaze to the night outside with pursed lips.

“What are you thankingfor?” Eugene looked at her profile.

Chapter 736 There was a pause, “The ride,” Eugene raised a brow slightly, a faint laugh escaping his throat. It was barely audible to Melanie 2/2 By the tthey arrived in Oskon City, it was already very late. They went straight back to the hotel they stayed in before. When they were checking in, they found out that only the suite on Eugene's floor was available.

Exhausted, Melanie did not protest and accepted it.

The next morning, just as Melanie was getting ready to leave, there was a knock on the door. Lee was waiting outside. “Mr. Scott askedto remind you that you can leave now” Jackson's plane did not arrive until ten, and luckily, there had not been any delays. They did not rush to intercept Jackson as they had already coordinated everything with his assistant. Both parties would have a brief meeting.

Of course, only ten minutes had been allotted.

Jackson did not resemble Harvey at all. His appearance and personality were similar-a square face, thick eyebrows, and a wheatish complexion. It made him appear unapproachable. Accompanied by his assistant, Jackson made his way toward them directly.

Melanie adjusted her demeanor and took out the prepared documents before jumping straight to the point.

“Hello, Mr. Lowe. I'm from Burning Star Studio’s business department.

“Here are the details of the collaboration between Burning Star Stuand LeapCo. We'd like to show them to you.” The assistant took the documents from her while Jackson seemed unfazed, his sharp gaze scrutinizing her.

“Xander’s studio?” “Yes, w- Before she could finish her sentence, they were interrupted by a girl running toward them from a distance. She was joyfully shouting, “Daddy!” The girl was running so fast that she was unable to stop herself in time. Melanie turned around, and before she could even react, the girl crashed into her.
