Chapter 375 - Lost Her!

Javier lay still on the ground where he knew that blood was oozing out of his body. He saw how Jennifer fought till the very end to not leave his hand but still, Lucas succeeded in snatching her..again.

And this time, he snatched not only the girl he loves but also, his wife...his will to live...his heartbeat and everything...everything happened in front of him and he failed miserably to do anything for both of them.

It broke him mentally, emotionally, until his eyes saw all the scenes. Jennifer was first of all dragged by that bastard Lucas, and later on, she was thrown into the car. Lucas as well sat inside the same car but Jennifer had come to the back mirror to see him still lying in the same position.

Seeing her banging the window of the car in the craziest manner, made him cry inside his own mind.

There was nothing left for him to showcase his expressions, except the numbness of losing someone dear to him, once again.

But this wasn't enough to make Lucas satisfied as his man came once again when they actually fired a bullet back at his legs.

It didn't pain him like last time since the most dreadful fear of his has actually come true. His Jennifer was getting snatched from him right in front of his aze...

The blood from his legs also started to come out but his eyes only saw Jennifer crying until he saw the car vanishing out of his sight.

He laid there, without any movement in his actions with the events revolving inside his mind like a reel.

Whatever that happened, only disturbed him entirely, but the eyelids seemed to be heavier to hold.

He wants to blink but is afraid..afraid that he will lose everything he has of Jennifer...

Soon after, the rain started to pour from the clouds above him but he didn't budge from his position even an inch.

There was too much sourness in his entire body, especially inside his body, and that too in his heart.

Each moment spent with Jennifer was coming into his eyes, how he got married to her, how he made love to her..how much happy they were..but he only got her after kidnapping her.

He never claimed her in front of everyone. The option he chose was to hide from Lucas but never face him.

Who would have imagined that the encounter would be this much of a bad thing?

Subconsciously, he could feel his body leaving his soul. The structure will be left alone but he didn't want to leave so soon...without having his own wife by his arms.

'I guess there will be no one to save me anymore..' he was ready to close his eyes by now when the pain got too much over his head.

In the end, he was at least satisfied that in this life he got to give her the name of his... calls her as his wife.

But then, he knew the car honking was heard under the rain. Despite his blood being spread everywhere, he saw his dizzy eyes catching the sight of his brother and father coming closer to him.

"Jennifer...." The last thing he murmured was calling Jennifer's name in his breath when the blankness and deep slumber engulfed him into their shadows....

....

Hours passed and Jennifer knew that she was given the injection to fall asleep. Yet, it was her own strong will that she never let her eyelids get heavy.

Just sitting on the seat of the car like a lifeless person was asked to simply fall asleep.

Her face had already lost its color when she was looking out of the window, to see the state which she knew she would be leaving very soon.

Upon this realization, her heart already shattered into pieces and realized that it was just a few minutes more and, then, she doesn't know if she will ever see her husband's face ever again.

'Will Javier be fine? Will brother Charles come to him or not?' This thought constantly haunted her, as she knew the sight was horrible.

The blood had already logged out of his wounds, making him similar to that of the lifeless body.

When she was looking outside of the window, did she hear Lucas' husky tone from beside her, "Stop thinking about that man, he won't come to save you?"

No reply from her side since her own body felt too much of an ache to speak. her shoulder was still in pain but the blood flow had decreased.

Yet it didn't have much impact as she was still very much in pain, either mentally, emotionally, or physically.

"You have wasted your time on him, Jennifer. Marrying him....what did you think to go ahead and marry him? He had no one, no force to save you.."

"At least you could have chosen a man who must have been worthy for someone like you, someone like me! Him as the opponent? Oh, c'mon." Lucas simply found disgust on recalling how Jennifer had earlier claimed her love for the Johnson guy

Not only that, he knew that she is still very much desiring him, but is trying her best to not display the same.

Whether the reason is her energy level or the sentimental turmoil, she can't define what caused her too much pain.

The car arrived at a certain place where the rain had stopped pouring. The car suddenly stopped with a jerk but she didn't budge from her place, "Sir, we have arrived."

Hearing this, her lips tightened. The door of the other side was opened by Lucas when he stepped out at first, leaving her alone.

Her mind wandered at the thoughts of Javier until they clashed as her side of the door was opened.

"It is time to leave this place. Come out.." Lucas told Jennifer. But she had no strength.

She knew the injection was very much effective over her, the only thing she was able to operate was her own eyes and mind.

When Lucas noted her non-movement, only increased his darkness.

However, in the end, did he finally lift her from the car seat the bridal way to carry her back to the airplane which was awaiting them.

Lucas gently carried her above when Jennifer didn't even match her eyes with this man, who was the killer of her husband.

She was brought inside the airplane where she was once again asked to sit on the seat. Her gaze never tore from that out of the view that was seen from the window as the heartbreak continued to take a trail on her mind.

"Treat her wound and stop the bleeding. I don't want her to die due to excess bleeding..."
