Bang!

The wall made of concrete was broken down as a body came flying through it. The bulky man that was the head of the hideout rolled for a few meters before coming to a stop by the wall on the other end of the room he had come out of.

"Urgh... That was one might punch." Surprisingly, the man stood up with a visible bruise on his large belly. "But that's not enough to bring me down." He grinned up at Leon who looked at his fist with a frown.

'That should have been a sure knock out. I know I held back, but still.' Leon's focus turned to his own body, and to his dismay, he noticed his power flowing in three directions. 'Ah, I understand now. Keeping them here is splitting my own power. Now I get what Michael meant by that warning.'

"Oi, blackie! Quit staring at your arm and fight me. When you start something, you make sure to see it through till the end!" The fat man slapped the side of his belly and grinned, revealing a gold tooth.

"You're right." Leon raised his gaze and pinned his eyes on the fat man. A cold aura flowed out of him freely, and the shadows in both rooms seemed to wriggle and shake under that aura.

"BOSS!" All of a sudden, from the basement of the building, a swarm of thugs came running out. Leon had no idea why they were only just showing up, but it didn't matter.

'I don't need to use my summons when darkness is my home ground.' Leon smiled as the bulbs in the rooms suddenly burst, plunging the place into darkness. The sounds of screams followed.

Twenty minutes later, Leon sat on the piled up bodies of a few gangsters while looking at the beaten up fat man in front of him.

"Now, tell me. Do you know Daryl King?" He asked with his legs crossed.

"Y-yes, sir." The fat man mumbled while holding onto his swollen cheek and holding back tears of terror.

"Good, so you know of his failed attack earlier today at Megan's Diner?"

"Yes, sir." The man nodded again.

"Then I don't need you anymore." Leon's hand flashed by the man's face, and the man was knocked unconscious. He looked around and spoke to himself. "I should probably keep the bodies and ask Michael what to do with them later." Leon hummed and stood up. The black shadows around him writhed, and the dozens of unconscious bodies all around him sank into the darkness.

'Kaladin, Nero, Grokus, I'm giving you access to my Domain. Dump the bodies in.' Leon informed his summons as he left the ruined hideout. None of the gangsters were dead, but they wouldn't be waking up anytime soon.

"Huh? Who the fuck are you?" As Leon stepped out of the building and emerged in the alleyway, someone was walking toward the entrance to the hideout. The man was over six feet tall, and wore black jeans and a sleeveless shirt. His arms and part of his exposed upper chest was covered in tattoos.

"None of your business." Leon grumbled as he turned to face the man. But he froze mid step when he saw the Black Fang tattoo on the man's right cheek. "You know what? Maybe it is your business. I just finished wiping the floor with your people back there." Leon gestured at the broken door.

"What?!" The man ran past Leon, but as he was about to pass, Leon stuck out his leg and tripped him.

"You bastard! Do you know who you've crossed?! I'm Damian Cross!" The man growled as he jumped to his feet and eyed Leon warily. He could already see some blood splatters on the walls from where he was, but he could not see anybody. 'Are they in the basement?'

"Damian Cross? Why should I care?" Leon asked lackadaisically. He was a bit interested in the man because he was acting like a bigshot. However, the fat man that had claimed to be the boss of the hideout was also acting that way.

"You... You're a part of White Ghosts, aren't you?" Damian growled as he bent low, getting into a strange fighting stance. It reminded Leon of a more barbaric looking move that he had seen Darius, Rodius' son, use once.

"I don't have the time for this. Will you surrender on your own, or do you want to get a few of your teeth loose?" Leon asked, cracking his knuckles.

"You talk big, pretty boy. I'm quite well known in these parts. Even the Executives of White Ghosts are cautious of me. That means on thing, you must be the boss, huh? No one knows what he looks like." Damian spat on the ground. He thought it was quite ironic. The boss of an organization known as White Ghosts was the opposite of it. Dark skin, black clothes, black hair. In fact, in this darkness, if not for the backdrop of streetlights on the distance, it would have been much harder to spot Leon.

'My legs are actually shaking, huh? The leader of White Ghosts... Who would expect him to look like this?' Darius thought to himself and prepared to fight. He was pretty high up in the hierarchy of the Black Fangs, so he was very able. But he doubted he would stand a chance against the boss of the White Ghosts. 'Then again, he might just be a geek, and not a fighter. If not the White Ghosts wouldn't have been so evasive.'

Damian suddenly dashed forward at an inhumane speed. He bent low, and his two arms were held out open, his fists pushed forward to strike first.

Whoosh!

Like magic, a black flame that burnt the air around him lit up on his fists, intent on burning up Leon as well.

'Oh? I can't sense any materials on him pumping out mana. Is this all his own doing?' Leon was surprised and could not help grinning. Already, he was excited at this hidden world that had existed right underneath his nose when he was here on Earth. It was too bad that he was having much more fun on Datar now.

Bang!

Leon took a long step backwards all of a sudden, causing Damian to smash his fists into the wall that had been beside Leon. He growled and followed Leon with a series of punches.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Black fire lit up the wall as Damian buried his fists into the wall as he chased Leon. With each passing moment, the fear in his heart was being driven up. All because he could not touch Leon, not even graze him, yet Leon had an excited look on his face.

"You're pretty strong." Leon smiled. If he had to make a comparison, then he would say that Damian resembled a Peak E rank from Datar. That was quite an accomplishment for someone who was on Earth, as Earth had so little mana that there was almost nothing supernatural about it.

Speaking of the supernatural, then that meant all those horror stories and rumors about mountain monsters and forest folk were probably real to a certain extent.

"DON'T MOCK ME!!!" Damian roared and the flames covering his fists exploded, burning up to his elbows and eating at his clothes. His eyes turned murderous and his aura raged. Leon's evaluation of him was taken up another notch. The man's skin had even begun to burn under the raging black flames, showing that he either lacked proper control over his power, or he was only able to use it at full power under certain conditions. After all, they said power had a price. In Leon's case, he had technically lost his humanity.

"I'm not mocking you. I'm complementing you. You've truly surprised me." Leon laughed as he caught Damian's blazing fist. Instantly, the black flames went out, revealing his burnt skin. The tattoos on his arms were also burnt, but Leon didn't care.

"Come work for me, Damian. I can give you much more than whoever your current boss is. I don't care about the White Ghosts. The only thing I care about now is wiping out the Black Fangs." Leon smiled as he siphoned away the mana within Damian's body.

"Y-You... Just who... are you?" Those were Damian's final words before his exhaustion from losing so much mana so quickly caught up to him.
