Shelly nodded. "All right. We are unpacking now, and Ivy and Lucas are waiting for us in the hotel restaurant on the first floor."

Avery chimed in, "Lucas seems a bit reserved. Try to strike up a conversation with him later."

Shelly smiled and replied, "Sure thing."

After the call ended, Hayden walked over to Shelly and said, "You guys are being too nice to Lucas. He might think it's easy to win

"I was just having a normal conversation with him downstairs, right?" Shelly argued.

Hayden raised an eyebrow. "It was pretty clear it wasn't normal. You even had him call you by your name."

Shelly chuckled as she explained, "It's normal for him to addressthat way. He's the sage as Ivy, so it would be weird for

him to addressany other way."

"You're just being too nice to him," Hayden said.

Shelly shrugged. "I'm like this with everyone! It's not just Lucas."

"I know. What | mean is, you shouldn't be too friendly. After all, we're here as Ivy's elders."

Hayden fell silent.

The two arrived at the restaurant, where Ivy immediately handed them the menu.

"Are you two hungry? I've ordered a few dishes according to your tastes. Take a look and see if you want to add anything," Ivy said,

having ordered dishes based on Hayden and Shelly's preferences.

Shelly took the menu and glanced at it. "Six dishes should be enough to share for the four of us." She handed the menu back to

the waiter.

The atmosphere suddenly bectense as no one spoke.

Shelly cleared her throat, preparing to ask Lucas squestions.

Just then, Ivy elbowed Lucas and said, "Why don't you tell my brother what you are doing now?"

Confused, Lucas asked, "Aren't we supposed to be eating now?"

Realization dawned on Lucas’ face. "I'm working on a new gthat will be launched in a week's time."

Shelly smiled awkwardly. "Really? How impressive!"

"| can get Ivy to send you the link," Lucas said.

"Sure!" Shelly said.

At the stime, Hayden chimed in, "She doesn't play video games."
